As part of the wider major refurbishment project carried out by our Core team, we manufactured a wide range of bedroom case goods and public area furniture for the hotel.

We created a new reception desk complete with oak veneer shelving, granite top and black back-illuminated toughened glass feature.  At the entrance to The Bird & Bell restaurant is the maître d’ counter we manufactured comprising upholstered flutes to front face, plinth clad in beaten copper sheet, and a top with dresser moulding.  We also created waiter stations from oak veneered MDF and oak hardwood stained and lacquered with antique brass handles and brass grilles.

8No types of fixed seating were manufactured in different shapes to suit the design of the restaurant, and included a mixture of booths and shaped seating with separate tables.  We used framing overclad in veneered MDF, with staining and polishing and high quality finishes including oak skirtings, oak veneered ply upstands, veneered ply kickers and timber rails with brass studs.  The accompanying dining tables comprise solid wood tops with lambs-tongue edges, mounted on matt black painted mild steel pedestals with flat bases fixed to the floor.

Various other high quality pieces were manufactured for the public areas including new bar with gantry and front canopy, kitchen pass counter and gantry, multiple other serveries including an illuminated tiered bottle display, and vanity units.
