We were engaged by Terumo Aortic to construct a new glass ceilinged atrium and extension to the Graft & Thoraflex building within their manufacturing facility located in Inchinnan, Renfrew.

Construction works included diverting building footprint services, continuous helical displacement piling and the installation of circa 190T of steelwork, self-compacting concrete floors, installation of a single-ply Sika-Trocal roof and internal finishes.

The new atrium acts as a connection of 4 existing buildings via 8 adjoining doors – as this is used as a fire escape route, this was a complex undertaking but, via working closely with the wider project team, we installed fire stopping measures while maintaining a light and airy new entrance for our client’s facility.

Our team excelled in their client service; bringing commitment to delivering exceptional quality and a can-do attitude to the table, even during difficult periods. This was evident when the client further engaged us to complete additional works to those included in our original contract.
