M&E Co-ordination
M&E services are integral components of modern construction and our in-house expertise provides solutions in these complex areas. We have a highly experienced M&E Services Co-ordinator who will remove the “black art” that can often be presented around the delivery and co-ordination of extensive M&E services installations. Fundamentally, he works between the significant M&E Services contractor(s) and our Project Manager in the production of a co-ordinated sequence of working and programming. He also assists our Project Manager to produce an M&E Services testing, proving and commissioning programme: this runs in reverse order from the day of handover with relevant manuals, back to when such information needs to start being gathered and when various areas, rooms and systems need to be complete for commissioning.
Our M&E Services team can provide comprehensive expertise, site co-ordination and support regardless of the project stage.
- Buildability, Commissionability and Maintainability: Reviewing and advising on M&E elements throughout the project, through the pre-construction and construction phases and post handover
- Invaluable Input: Design review and verification, value engineering, lifecycle costing, contractor selection
- Best Value: Working together to find best value as a team, not just considering immediate decisions, but the lifetime of installations
- Quality Control: Continuous inspections and testing to ensure high quality, compatibility, user friendliness and early identification and resolution of defects

My role involves creating innovative solutions and delivering substantial lifecycle cost reductions and improved sustainability performance, as well as communicating and co-ordinating with all MEP parties which is rewarding.
