The good news keeps coming!

After our announcement on Monday that we were shortlisted for the Scottish Property Awards, we have also been named finalists for the Construction Awards of Excellence 2023 in the Building Contractor of the Year: Scotland category!

The Construction Awards of Excellence are a truly independent awards programme designed to recognise those individuals and companies that set the gold standard in the construction sector. The award we have been shortlisted for (for the second year in a row) celebrates the contractor who has been outstanding in project delivery, build quality, customer service, health & safety and environmental standards.

This is in recognition of our project to construct the first Virgin Hotel outside of the USA. Located within the UNESCO Edinburgh Old and New Towns World Heritage Site, the hotel incorporates three listed buildings as well as a new-build 9 storey block with connects the existing buildings through a system of 11 bridges.

Being shortlisted for this award; during one of the most challenging times that our people, our company and our industry have ever faced; brings us great pride and is a testament to all of the hard work from our excellent site teams and wider colleagues who made this happen.

The Awards ceremony takes place in London on 20th April 2023: we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed!
