Thomas Johnstone are delighted to announce that we have been named a finalist in the Scottish Property Awards 2023 for our Virgin Hotel, Edinburgh project!

One of only six projects to be named in the category, our transformation of 3 formerly ‘at risk’ Listed buildings into integral areas of the first of the brand’s luxury hotels outside of the USA, has been shortlisted in the Regeneration Project of the Year category.

The project sought to revitalise three unused historical structures, which were previously included in the Buildings at Risk Register, while retaining their historic features as far as possible. This required a great deal of collaborative working from our site team; the wider project team and other interested parties.

The ceremony will take place on 23rd February 2023 at the EICC. We wish all of the finalists the best of luck!
